Seismoto is awesome! We stopped there on our way into town and my wife got a cappuccino that was great, and I just got a drip (black) and it was excellent. So we stopped on our way back out too. The bar area seemed really cool, but we just stuck with coffee. There as live music on Saturday, and that was great. The outdoor seating was really nice. The service was efficient and thorough, and the cashier offered me a sample of the drip before I ordered. The other servers were a bit curt. I wouldn’t describe any of their demeanors as warm, but professional would suffice. The bartender (there is an alcoholic drinks bar and a separate coffee bar) was very friendly and gave us a classic bartender’s greeting even though we weren’t in his line. “How we doing today guys?” with a big smile and while polishing a glass. Awesome place. A bit loud, but surprisingly not that boomy for such a tall room with all hard surfaces. Highly recommend!

I visited on a Sunday in late October around noon. Whoever is dialing in their batch brew needs a raise. 1 million dollar batch brew. Balanced and bright. Clean mouthfeel. Delicious casa blend! No funky acidity or headache-inducing flavor like you get at some shops that seem like they happen to sell coffee. No, this place has a destiny, and that destiny is to serve coffee. Gorgeous drive, too!

What a beautiful spot! The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful, just look at the photos. We went here a couple times on our trip to do some work, then also another time to simply enjoy with friends. It's great for both! There are comfortable seating options for working for 1+ hours. They also have long tables for friend hangs, games. The coffee and food were great, and the staff was very kind.

Great new spot in TC! So much space, inside and out. Perfect for meeting friends or working for a bit. They have a simple coffee menu and pastries. They will have beer by the end of the summer. I love the modern wood design - very much Scandinavian inspired simplistic decor.

This place was a highlight to our traverse city trip. We’ve been to many coffee shops in the area but the roast was excellent here. The latte was great not too much sweetener. The staff although only one was so friendly and took time to give our daughter a little treat. Would highly recommend. Beautiful interior, great place to hang out

Seismoto is hands down my favorite coffee shop not only in Traverse City, but ever. They always greet me with a smile, they know my order and name and we always have such a fun time chatting while they’re making my drink. The latte itself is to die for. It is the perfect balance and every single cold foam flavor is incredible. I couldn’t recommend Seismoto more.

What an atmosphere. Plenty of parking, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The matcha was made well and the barista was very friendly.

This is such an open awesome spot to meet or even work! I really enjoy meeting up here when I’m in TC! A must stop if you love coffee. Inside or outside it’s a great visit! As a local it’s a must!

Very pleasant spot to hang and grab some coffee! When you walk in, there is a big open seating area and then three different businesses/counters. Seismoto sells coffee, which you can then take to the common seating area. Because it’s a shared space, sometimes it’s too loud to be a great working/study environment, so be aware of that! I love how much parking there is; it’s a very easy-access location.

Great coffee shop! We got the strawberry and banana bread lattes both were excellent. The coffee itself was very smooth. The flavors were homemade and it showed there was no fake flavor taste and not too sweet. Highly recommend checking this spot out!
